打擊樂系為學(xué)生提供管弦樂、獨奏、室內(nèi)樂、世界音樂和爵士樂的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生與世界上最知名的音樂家一起接受最嚴格的訓(xùn)練，目前打擊樂系有16名本科生和6名研究生，并且研究生也可以參與助教，他們的任務(wù)包括指導(dǎo)和指揮打擊樂團，教授打擊方法課程，在研究生室內(nèi)樂團表演和教授非專業(yè)課程。
