二、如何正確使用商務(wù)詞匯
文中是一些易混用的商務(wù)詞匯和大家進(jìn)行探討，有些常見的意思我們一般用的詞匯都比較口語(yǔ)化，殊不知商務(wù)英語(yǔ)中還有其正式用語(yǔ)的替代詞，我們今天就一起來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)吧。
首先，商務(wù)詞匯一般選用詞義比較單一的詞來(lái)代替詞義相對(duì)靈活的詞?？聪旅鎯蓚€(gè)句子：
Please correct your copy of the contract accordingly. ×
Please amend your copy of the contract accordingly. √
correct和amend都有表示“修改”的意思，但是在商務(wù)英語(yǔ)中，我們使用amend就顯得比較嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，而correct是一個(gè)口語(yǔ)常用詞匯，我們一般就不會(huì)使用，類似這樣的詞匯還有tell → inform;buy → purchase;start → commence等等。
其次，商務(wù)詞匯一般選用單個(gè)動(dòng)詞替代相同意義的動(dòng)詞詞組，顯得更加正式。比如下面的句子：
They managed to set up the brand loyalty of their consumers. ×
They managed to establish the brand loyalty of their consumers. √
set up和establish都表示“建立”，如果在口語(yǔ)中，這兩種表達(dá)都可以，語(yǔ)法也都符合規(guī)則，但是在商務(wù)書面語(yǔ)中傾向于用單個(gè)動(dòng)詞，更為嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)。還比如keep / go on → continue; add to → supplement等等。
再者，商務(wù)詞匯一般會(huì)使用復(fù)雜的介詞短語(yǔ)來(lái)代替簡(jiǎn)單的介詞和連詞，從而體現(xiàn)商務(wù)書面語(yǔ)的正式性。比如：
We can grant you a 5% discount if your order in no less than 1000 dozen. ×
We can grant you a 5% discount provided that your order in no less than 1000 dozen. √
if和provided that 都表示“如果”，但是在商務(wù)書面語(yǔ)中傾向于使用復(fù)雜的provided that來(lái)體現(xiàn)其嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)性與正式性。類似的替換還有for → for the purpose of;because of → by virtue of;about → with reference to / with regard to等等。
最后一種是使用古英語(yǔ)。我們都知道在法律條文上會(huì)使用古英語(yǔ)詞匯，因?yàn)檫@樣可以增加嚴(yán)肅和正式的意味。同樣的道理，在英語(yǔ)書面文本或者合同里也會(huì)使用一些古英語(yǔ)詞匯。比如：after this time → hereafter; later in this contract → hereinafter等等。

1.分類法
