roommate
politics
and
how
to
make
the
living
situation
work.

2.
諒解和妥協(xié)。你和室友不可能生活習慣都一樣，在自己看來沒有多大問題的生活方式，室友可能會不適應(yīng)，這時候要學會諒解和妥協(xié)。例如你是個早睡早起的人，而你的室友有可能會習慣半夜兩三點才睡，中午才起床。這時你們可以商量找到一個折衷辦法，相互調(diào)整配合。例如室友承諾在1點后把電腦屏幕亮度調(diào)暗不影響你的睡眠，你也要為了不影響室友睡覺，早上11點過后再打開窗簾。

my
year
in
the
International
House,
most
people
have
ended
up
getting
on
famously
with
their
roommates.
I
have
had
two
while
staying
in
America,
both
very
different,
but
both
fabulous,
and
I
am
very
glad
I
decided
to
try
sharing
a
room
out.
Of
course
lots
of
campus
housing
options
do
offer
single
rooms
for
students
who
don't
want
to
share
–
but
my
advice
would
be
to
try
the
roommate
experience.

4.
相互學習。發(fā)現(xiàn)并學習室友的優(yōu)點，而且和來自不同國家的室友同一宿舍是個認識了解其它國家文化的好機會。加州大學伯克利分校的留學生公寓就有一個規(guī)定：不可以和來自同一國家的同學住在一個宿舍。

在美國留學合租要注意哪些細節(jié)1.房子分類
美國的房子大概分以下幾種：學校宿舍、公寓和小別墅。
宿舍一般有公共廚房，客廳和衛(wèi)生間，每個學校的宿舍構(gòu)造不同，具體參照學校官網(wǎng);公寓一般包括開間，一居室到四居室。合租的人越多越便宜;小別墅一般是獨立的房子，帶三個房間和一個小院子。
2.怎么租房?
A.租房一般都需要押金。學校宿舍的押金在網(wǎng)上支付即可。而從私人處租房的話每個房東的規(guī)定不同。公寓大部分都要做寄存保管，一般需要你拿著美金到附近大型超市的貨幣中心辦理，辦理好后會拿到一個類似支票的紙，把它交給房東或者公寓管理中心就行了。
B.拿到鑰匙之后，一定要仔細檢查一下家里的家具、管道等地方有沒有壞掉的地方，要拍照保存下來，方便以后對質(zhì)。
C.一定不要延期交房租。一般會給你三天左右的時間，延期后要交滯納金，每天25-75美元。
3.其他要注意的地方
A.選房子時要多方面對比，包括交通情況、治安情況和人種分布等等。建議剛到美國的同學先找一個離學校比較近，中國學生比較多的地方，這樣融入生活比較快。
B.要選一個合得來的室友，最好是年齡相近的，可以保證以后過得舒心。
C.女生不建議與男生合租，一是因為不方便，二是不太安全。
D.租房的時候很多地方要求你有一定的信用記錄，記得提前問一下沒有記錄能不能租。
E.選小區(qū)的時候記得多上網(wǎng)查查，找一個評價比較好的小區(qū)。
F.租房的時候要提高警惕，一個人在外要注意保護好自己。
G.記得問清楚租金里面包不包括水電費、網(wǎng)費。也要注意房東對垃圾處理、停車和養(yǎng)寵物的規(guī)定。
H.一般房子都不提供家具，不過會有冰箱、烤箱、洗碗機等。
I.如果洗衣機在室外的話可能會需要洗衣卡或者硬幣。
J.如果有人要在你家里留宿，一天兩天可以，超過三天的要告知管理員。一般小區(qū)允許訪客留宿一星期到一個月不等。如果沒打招呼被發(fā)現(xiàn)的話會被視為違約，會產(chǎn)生很多麻煩的。

我在美國有親戚朋友，會更利于我申請留學簽證嗎　很遺憾，美國有親戚朋友不但不會給申請人帶來任何幫助，相反，還容易增加申請人被拒簽的幾率。因為申請留學簽證時，簽證官有一定重要評定標準就是考察該申請人是否具有移民傾向。如果簽證官認為申請人有移民傾向，則鐵定會被拒簽。所以美國有親戚這件事會大大增加簽證官對你的疑慮。希望大家在申請留學簽證時，最好不要透露此類信息。
