Sc.MData Science
布朗大學(xué)數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)碩士(Data Science Initiative，縮寫DSI)項目是布朗大學(xué)新開設(shè)的交叉學(xué)科項目，由數(shù)學(xué)、應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)、生物統(tǒng)計及計算機科學(xué)四個系共同開設(shè)。該項目旨在提供對數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)方法和算法的基本理解，通過研究數(shù)學(xué)、統(tǒng)計學(xué)和計算機科學(xué)的相關(guān)主題來實現(xiàn)，包括機器學(xué)習(xí)、數(shù)據(jù)挖掘、安全和隱私、可視化和數(shù)據(jù)管理。

該項目為期一年，包含3個學(xué)期，秋季、春季外加一個暑期學(xué)期，具體課程

背景要求
項目沒有設(shè)置固定的先修課程，希望申請者有一定的數(shù)學(xué)、統(tǒng)計和計算機背景，建議至少學(xué)習(xí)過1年的微積分，1學(xué)期的線性代數(shù)，1學(xué)期的概率論與統(tǒng)計，以及一門計算機編程語言課程。如果申請者特別出色，缺少先修課程也可以被錄取
