康奈爾大學(xué)(Cornell University)，創(chuàng)立于1865年建立，是美國大學(xué)協(xié)會的十四個創(chuàng)始院校之一，著名的常青藤盟校八大成員之一。
康奈爾大學(xué)是常青藤盟校中第一所實行性別平等的男女合校大學(xué)，在招生錄取上最早實行不計身份，不分信仰和種族的原則。其辦學(xué)理念影響了全美高等教育，辦學(xué)規(guī)模為當(dāng)時全美高校之最?？的螤柎髮W(xué)采用公私合營的辦學(xué)模式，最初以農(nóng)工學(xué)院起而后逐漸擴(kuò)展到理工、經(jīng)管、文理、農(nóng)業(yè)、獸醫(yī)、建筑、教育、金融以及傳媒等領(lǐng)域。
截止2020年10月，共有61位康奈爾大學(xué)的校友或教研人員榮獲諾貝爾獎，位居全球高校前列。
地理位置
主校區(qū)位于美國紐約州伊薩卡，距離紐約約四個小時的車程，湖光山色，風(fēng)景秀麗。
另外在紐約和卡塔爾多哈已有校區(qū)。1898年在紐約曼哈頓建立康奈爾大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院;2011年底在紐約曼哈頓開始建設(shè)康奈爾理工學(xué)院(Cornell Tech)，并于2017年9月正式招生，與伊薩卡主校區(qū)的工程學(xué)院、商學(xué)院、法學(xué)院聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)跨學(xué)科的計算機(jī)、人工智能、金融工程和運(yùn)籌學(xué)、網(wǎng)絡(luò)安全、高科技管理和法務(wù)等方向的實用人才。
2001年由康奈爾大學(xué)以及卡塔爾基金會(Qatar Foundation)在卡塔爾首都多哈的大學(xué)城，共同創(chuàng)立Weill康奈爾醫(yī)學(xué)院卡塔爾分校，頒授醫(yī)學(xué)博士學(xué)位。

標(biāo)化要求
* 語言成績：
1)托福(含在家考)：不得低于100分;
2)雅思(含Indicator)：不得低于7.5;
3)多鄰國：不得低于120;
4)PTE：不得低于70;
5)Cambridge C1Advanced或C2 Proficiency：不得低于191;
如果SAT閱讀語法部分超過35分(總分40)，或者在美國或以英語為官方語言的國家的高中就讀4年，可申請免除提交語言成績。
需要注意的是，康奈爾大學(xué)并不免除在非英語國家就讀英語學(xué)校的學(xué)生的英語語言成績要求。
* SAT或ACT：
1)由于疫情關(guān)系不強(qiáng)制提交，但如果提交，不要求提交寫作成績;
2)SAT可以拼分，ACT不能拼分;
3)確定注冊后，需要發(fā)送官方成績單。
根據(jù)往屆錄取學(xué)生的資料，平均GPA為 4.05，SAT均分在1400-1550，ACT均分在 30-34。
